The 60-Day Proof Window Most Operators Miss

The trigger arrives and you've got 60 to 90 days. Watch how the window gets used.

On day 1 the email lands and you read it twice. By day 3 you're hunting for examples. The first deck is on an old laptop, and the second is in a drive you lost access to back in March.

On day 12 you find one number and have no idea where it came from. Day 20, you email a former manager. They get back to you on day 26, and they remember the project differently than you do.

By day 40 you've got four examples in four different formats. You start drafting on day 55, and by then the window's almost shut.

Now run the same 60 days for someone else. The email lands on day 1 and they open a document that already has five entries in it, each with a sentence, a number, and a name. On day 3 they pick three and practice saying them out loud. From day 4 on, they test it on people, reorder it, and cut the weakest one.

Same window and same quality of work, but the days get used completely differently.

How many of your 60 days go to just finding things?
